Mr. Charles Ferguson, Forestville, Delaware County, Iowa, emigrated to
the United States over forty years ago. His forefathers lived in Blair Athole,
from which they moved to Deeside, where they were farmers, and subsequently to
Kirkmichael in Banffshire. Mr. Ferguson was one of a family of seven sons and
three daughters, and owns two hundred and eighty acres in Delaware
County.
