The genealogy of Green FERGUSON is of interest in that he had a son name Turner born 1849, Chester Co., SC . Further, Green's father Henry also had a son Turner born 1816, Chester Co., SC. Henry's father Adams FERGUSON had a sister named Mourning FERGUSON, our subject Turner named one of his daughters Mourning FERGUSON. Adams FERGUSON also had a son named Stephen who could be the same Stephen as in the slave schedule.

For this reason and others its premature to say that the slave Turner was once owned by a descendant of John FERGUSON and Ann STUBBLESON but its a good working hypothesis.
