Ancestry of Jack Robert Ferguson

My oldest traced ancestor is Peter Ferguson. According to family "history" was of Holland Dutch and Irish ancestry. He was married to Mary. They lived in the Town of Half Moon in Saratoga County, New York sometime after 1801. Peter died in April 1813. Ambrose Ferguson was Peter's son. He was born c.1770-1775 in the Hudson Valley, New York. He married Nancy c. 1790 in Saratoga County, N.Y. Ambrose died c. 1845-1849 in Herman, Saratoga County, N.Y. Most of my current family relation lives in Western Michigan.
