4. James Fergusson and Judith Eldridge

One record that I am looking for is one that shows that James Fergusson (b.1740) fought at King's Mountain. I was never able to find that record, however he is in the DAR and SAR databases. The book "Kings Mountain and its Heroes" by Lyman Draper lists two James Fergusons with various spellings, but neither of which match up to someone who stayed in Virginia and completed their will in Ameilia County. I also was unable to find this will last time I was in the Library of Virginia. [Donald, Feb 5, 2008
