We "think" that William Ferguson was the son of Moses Ferguson (born Baltimore MD, died Johnson County, Missouri, 1845) and Elizabeth Cox. Moses was the son of Robert Ferguson Jr. (born Scotland 1722 died 1815 NC), who was the son of Col. Robert Ferguson Sr. (born Scotland 1701, died Lincoln County NC, 1794)
