favour of James Fergussoun in Chapelmark, his son, of 1 merk land of

- 04 Aug 1588 Contract between John Fergussone of Craigdarroch and
James Fergussone in Chapelmark, his brother, whereby said John renounces in
favour of James the lands of Corrochdow [Corrodow] and Chapelmark in return for

Craigdarroch and John Fergusone, eldest son of deceased John Fergusone of
Corrochdow [Corrodow], whereby said John renounces all right, as heir to his
grandfather and father, to lands of Corrochdow [Corrodow] and Cheppellmark, and
said William binds himself to infeft said John and his heirs, whom failing,
James, brother of John, and his heirs, in said lands for yearly payment of
£80 Scots.
