Lewis FERGUSON was born in Virginia in 1760. He enlisted in Culpeper Co. in 1778, serving until 1780. He was made lieutenant under Capt. Garland Burrly and Col. Francis Taylor. He died in Menard Co. in 1842. He was pensioned.
