In 1902 the four Ferguson brothers Peter, Daniel, Louis and
Robert broke away from their Fleming & Ferguson Shipyard at Paisley and set
up on their own as consultants before leasing the Newark Shipyard, Port
Glasgow, at £500 per year securing in March, 1903,...
On the
premature death of Mr Bobby Ferguson in 1954, the company was sold on to
Lithgow's Ltd in 1963.
